Movie title sequence based on the book The Wish, by Nicholas Sparks, a novel of nostalgic love and loss. I wanted to highlight the main character's love for film photography with black and white clips from my dad's old camcorder, along with other video footage.
Process: Although my vision of having black and white film footage remained consistent from the beginning, my overall concept changed quite a bit. I leaned away from bright colors and instead, kept the typography small and minimal. I ended up drawing the typography for the title, drawing inspiration from 90's typefaces.
