Sentiments aims to encourage offline correspondence and relationship building through the slow and intentional process of handwritten letters. I designed three correspondence kits that have all the materials needed for you and your loved one to write to each other once a month, for twelve months. The Oliver, Elsie, and Casey Kits feature a variety of patterns, inspired by tiles and textiles.
Process: All three correspondence kits include an introductory pamphlet with writing prompts, stationery paper, envelopes with patterned inserts, wrapped pens, stamps, and envelope seals. My process began with designing twelve patterns (four patterns per kit) with a different audience in mind. The Oliver Kit features classic patterns with neutral colors. The Elsie Kit features elegant patterns with feminine colors. And The Casey Kit features fun patterns with bold colors.
